Our latest visit was on a Tuesday nite (around 6 pm). We meet up with friends in the bar area for cocktails & let the always helpful and friendly folks at the reservations desk near the front entrance know that we wanted a table in an hour or so. We have a special table we especially enjoy dining at since it's not in the main dining area - which can become a bit crowded and 'busy' in the summer season. We've been coming to Kelly's for over a dozen years now for the superb food & wine list, outstanding bar & wait staff & the always appreciated visits to our table by owner Mike Kelly. We will definitely be coming back next year! He was very friendly and gave us recommendations on places to visit while we were in the area, a few of which we were able to check out later that week. He was beyond thrilled! He also brought out fresh bread to take home as well. My boyfriend mentioned that he was a fan of the apricot glaze that came with his appetizer, and he brought out a to-go cup full of it for him to take home with him. On a side note, our waiter, Brandon, was outstanding. The desserts are made in-house and have won many awards in the area. The entrees were large enough to have leftovers to take home. The sweet potato biscuits are to die for! We had heard reviews about them, and they were right on. They brought out plenty of bread to hold us over until our food came.

My boyfriend loved the apricot glaze that it came with and decided to keep it for his entree as well. It wasn't very busy when we go there, but quickly filled up. We decided to try Kelly's on a recommendation from a friend.
